Application Process
Students who were on the FAS in 2026 will need to submit a new application for 2027. If your child is/ children are existing beneficiary/beneficiaries of MSF ComCare, your child/ children will be auto-granted MOE FAS. You do not need to apply for MOE FAS separately.
Parents may apply for 2027 MOE FAS through SFS e-Services portal using their Singpass. Parents can access the portal via PG (“Services” tab -> Financial Assistance) or directly at https://studentfinance.moe.gov.sg (opens in new tab).
Parents need to submit only 1 application form even if they have children in different government and government-aided schools, independent schools, specialised schools and specialised independent schools under MOE (i.e. NUS High School for Mathematics and Science and School of Science and Technology). The outcome of the application will be made known in the SFS e-Services portal.
If your child is studying in special education school, School of the Arts or Singapore Sports School, please check with their school on the mode of application.
Eligibility Criteria
Singaporean students may apply for financial assistance from the Ministry of Education. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
• Family’s gross household income (GHI): ≤ $4,000/- per month
• Family’s per capita income (PCI): ≤ $1,000/- per month
