Haze Management Update

In view of the current fluid haze situation, the school will make adjustments to school activities corresponding to MOH’s health advisory, to ensure the well-being of all our students.

Parents/Guardians are requested to monitor local news broadcasts or websites for updates on the impact of the haze on schools and national examinations, if any.

2015 National Schools Floorball Competition Results ('C' Division Girls)

Temasek Polytechnic Scholarship Awardee



We congratulate our former student, Fariha Bte Siraj, on being awarded the prestigious Temasek Polytechnic Scholarship. Her outstanding achievement is a validation of her experience gained during her years in St. Margaret's Secondary School.



Youth Entrepreneurship (YES) Challenge 2015



The YES Challenge organised by the Singapore Polytechnic Business School aims to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and provides a platform for secondary school students to conceive of and implement their business ideas. As one of the finalists in the competition, our students were given the opportunity to carry out their business idea. The theme of the competition Can You Sell It? saw our girls create tie-dyed canvas bags with a seed fund of $800 which they sold in school and online. Posting the highest sales in the competition, our students emerged as Champions and were awarded $1000 in cash and the YES Challenge Shield. The students have kindly donated their winnings totalling $1250 to the school. 



The Launch of SG50 HOME e-book


In conjunction with Singapore’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations, MOE has launched the SG50 HOME e-book, accessible at http://www.sg50home.sg. It is the collective effort of students from all primary and secondary schools, junior colleges/centralised institute, special education schools as well as Singapore International School (Hong Kong). North West Outstanding School Partner Award 2015



St. Margaret’s Secondary has been active in promoting bonding and social cohesion among the community through our Values In Action (VIA) programmes. The Northwest Community Development Council has acknowledged our contributions and we are proud to announce that the school has been awarded the Gold Award in the Northwest Outstanding School Partner Award 2015.
